Income to Declare
- Salary and wages (all employers)
- Interest earned on bank accounts and term deposits
- Dividends received from shares
- Rental income from investment properties
- Business income if you are self-employed or a sole trader
- Capital gains from the sale of assets such as shares or property
- Government payments including Centrelink and JobSeeker
- Foreign income and pensions

Superannuation Considerations
- Check your concessional (pre-tax) contribution cap — $30,000 for 2025-26
- Consider voluntary salary sacrifice contributions before 30 June
- Review whether a spouse contribution or government co-contribution applies to you
- Ensure your employer has paid your Superannuation Guarantee correctly
- Check your total super balance if making non-concessional contributions
